From a child's first audition to a fully staged production, PPAC offers a clear path of growth for every young performer — backed by working professionals and a community that shows up.

Mainstage Productions

Ages 8–18

Fully staged musicals and plays produced each season. Open auditions, professional direction, real costumes and lighting, and a public performance run.

  • Open auditions — no prior experience required
  • Rehearsals led by working theater professionals
  • Costumes, set, lighting, and sound design
  • Public performances in Carbondale, PA

Summer Camp Intensives

Ages 7–17

Week-long summer intensives in musical theater, acting, voice, and dance — culminating in an end-of-week showcase for friends and family.

  • Daily training across acting, voice, and movement
  • Small group sizes and individualized coaching
  • Friday-afternoon showcase performance
  • Scholarship spots available for every camp

Workshops & Masterclasses

Short-format workshops on audition technique, scene study, vocal performance, improv, and stagecraft — taught by regional and visiting professionals.

Community Performance Series

Open to the public

Free and low-cost performances that bring live music and theater back to the heart of Carbondale — including holiday concerts, cabarets, and family showcases.
